The dimensions of these canvases are ideal for full scale paintings of flowers in the wild. In nearly all of them I have taken three contemporaneous plants of different size and painted them in a vertical slice of gloriously coloured nature! With the exception of Thistle and Alexander amongst the Golden Corn above which is painted on a deep edge canvas, they are all framed in simple white wood as can be seen on the wild flower contents page.
